Health and Safety

As an established responsible company we are committed to ensuring that all accommodation we offer is compliant with relevant Health and Safety legislation.

In our capacity as principal (as opposed to agent) we take all reasonable steps to ensure that there is an appropriate level of insurance cover in force in respect of all accommodation offered and that the accommodation will comply with all applicable national, local, trade and other laws, regulations and codes of practice (including EU legislation where applicable) relating to hygiene, fire, safety and any other applicable standards as required. In addition to ensuring that all properties meet basic legal health and safety standards we are working towards independently assessing the key health and safety aspects of all accommodation we offer to ensure that they meet not only with local legal standards but also the more stringent legal requirements stipulated here in the EU. Such assessments are to be carried out by recognised bodies and may be in form of independent physical audits with self certification audits being performed in the intervening years.

All of our product and contracting team here are well informed on all aspects of health and safety and having undertaken full health and safety training provided by ARC as part of ABTA’s recognised health and safety body, are qualified to undertake basic risk assessments during contractual visits.
