Hotels in Costa Del Sol ,Spain
The Costa del Sol has been and still is one of the most popular Spanish resorts. Translated as the sunshine coast you will certainly see why when you arrive. Offering sun, sand and sangria and great nightlife both for families and couples it is easy to understand this resorts popularity. Apartments and hotels dot the coastline, with options for families, couples and groups alike.
Malaga is the regarded of the capital of this coast line and here you will find an array of designer shops and historic buildings to visit. The closest beach resort to Malaga is Torremolinos, just a 10 minute taxi drive and this lively resort is an excellent choice for the young with the outskirts of this resort is highly recommended for families.
Aqualand waterpark is just 5 minutes from the centre and offers waterslides including Kamikaze, Niagra and Twister. The next resort down the coast is the beautiful fishing town of Benalmadena, where you can find a beautiful Marina, fantastic nightlife and great cuisine offered in many restaurants along the coast.
Fuengirola is roughly around a 25 minute taxi drive from Malaga and is another beautiful coastal resort, famous for its long white beaches and a newly built promenade. This resort has a plentiful choice of bars and restaurants and most hotel offer evening family entertainment.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are probably the most exclusive resorts on the coast, the Marina at Puerto Banus is a must for everyone, you will be amazed at the size and magnificence of the million pound yachts anchored in the port.Designer shops, A la Carte restaurants and excellent nightlife is rife here, you can certainly get drawn into being a Marbella Belle and really get used to the millionaires paradise.
Malaga airport is the main airport for this part of Spain and it has never been easier with a wealth of low cost flights from the UK.
