Hotels in Rhodes,Greece
With it's stunning blend of sandy beaches, medieval architecture and many lively resorts is is hardly surprising Rhodes in one of the most popular of the Greek Islands. The island of Rhodes is capital of the Dodecanese group of islands with a population of about 98.000 inhabitants.
The island's resorts are all unique with their own individual charm and appeal, and with over 300 days a year of sunshine, Rhodes is certain to remain a favourite with us UK holiday makers! Young partygoers should head straight for the lively commercial resort of Faliraki where the partying is 24 hours! While families and couples looking for a lively yet slightly less frantic resort will love Rhodes Town with its enchanting medieval old town and cosmopolitan new town.
Those seeking a quieter break will love to choose from the islands many still unspoiled villages including Kamiros, Ialyssos and Lindos which have all kept their authentic ambience and fine architecture nesting in the foothills of the island’s mountains.
We have picked out a selection of our favourite hotels in Rhodes for you to have a look through, including a 4 star luxury hotel and a lovely family run property for those on a budget.

Things to do in Rhodes
- Enjoy a Splashing good day Faliraki Water Park!.. One of the largest water parks in Europe. With loads of waterslides, wave pools, a kiddies play area and plenty of sun loungers this park is perfect for a family day out. There is even a mini train to take you round the park so you can save your energy for the rides! Dont miss the "Sting Ray" and the "Space bowl" rides.. not for the faint hearted though!
- Explore Medieval Old Town of Rhodes.. The walled old Town of Rhodes dates back to 408 BC and is now a fascinating condensed maze of narrow cobbled streets and alleys all rammed full of cafes, bars, shops and craft stalls. We recommend the best time to visit is late afternoon or early evening as the sun abates making this crowded historical centre a real pleasure to amble around.Later in the evening the whole area is beautifully lit up making it the perfect place to enjoy a romantic evening meal and one of the many local fish restaurants.
- Valley of the Butterflies..An enchanting natural experience. This is a unique natural attraction located in the valley of the river Pelekanos, which is fed by small, rushing waterfalls making this a stutting and relaxing attraction to stroll around. The Butterflies tend to group together amongst their specific breeds and are often so well camouflaged you have to look really hard to spot them on the plants and tree trunks!..Until they are disturbered and become a mass of fluttering colouful wings. If you can are lucky and stand still like at statue butterflies may land on you naturally which is really something to experience.. and makes for a great photo to remember your day by! We recommend visiting in the early or late summer months which are cooler as it can become very hot walking around mid summer eason. It should also be noted that due to its natural environment this attraction cannot really be recommended for those with walking difficulties.
